We love our denim. We live in our denim.

So when Amy from Wardrobe Made Simple assured us that we could, in fact, wear denim to all things holiday this season as long as we followed a few basic rules we were like, “Um, yes please!”

We decided to let her show us the ropes, and the looks, that will let you take your denim anywhere you need to go this holiday season. She’s breaking down 4 simple looks for us, so no matter what style you’re going for, you’ve got a simple formula for pulling it off and looking amazing in your jeans this season.

With each image set, you’ll find the key elements to look for to pull it off, and Amy’s suggestions for where to wear each look!

Dress Up Your Denim!

First, stop: Denim.

How Do I dress up my denim for the holidaysAmy is wearing Citizens of Humanity Rocket Crop High Rise with Contrast Side Panels (these came from Willow + Mercer at 30Avenue). The darker wash on the contrasting side panels make this pair a little more chic than your everyday denim, plus Amy says that “crop fit is everywhere for fall, whether it’s a skinny or a wide leg.”  You heard it here first, folks.
