Ashley is a writer, home educator, and former chef. A collector of bad puns and rum, she has lived a lot of places and had a lot of jobs. She loves to learn new things. While stay-at-home-momming, she also enjoys reading, gardening, crafting, and watching videos of chickens wearing pants. She and her husband, Ted, raise three children in Defuniak Springs. After years of holding various editorial posts, including the shopping and beauty editor, at a magazine in Dallas, Raya found herself swept off her feet by her now military husband. Saying goodbye to family, friends, and her favorite shops, she decamped to Destin to pursue beachside married life, freelance writing and incorporating color into her mostly-black wardrobe. The sartorial transformation was not a success, but she did find joy in the freedom of working from home and even more in becoming a mom to their tiny guy, Finn. Though she left big city life behind, her arsenal of beauty products traveled with (Sorry, Charlie!). Now with a tot on her hip, Raya is navigating motherhood, working to cultivate style, beauty and substance in all corners of their messy new life. Her heart flutters for girl power, champagne, and a good, glowy makeup look. A trifecta, if you ask her.

Kristen is a southern girl now, but was born & raised in Boston. That’s where she was living when she decided to go on match.com on a whim. That whim turned into a fairy tale when she met her southern prince charming, Travis, who swept her off her feet. They’ve been together ever since. They have 3 boys, and after years of vacationing in Destin Kristen and her family decided to sell it all and move to the beach full time in 2016. Olivia is a wife to her college sweetheart, mama to 3, friend to many, sister (to four sisters!!!!), daughter to a thespian mom. She is a brand new resident of Destin, but has always been a lover of the beach. She is married to the military (harhar;)) and home schools their three little people! In her “spare” time she loves to read, write, and run. She always prefers home cooked meals & holistic medicine for her family, but you wont find her in the kitchen on the weekends or without bleach in the event of a stomach bug. Balance, people. Balance. Espresso and red wine are her Achilles heel. You can follow her on Instagram @livvyroberts

Born in Germany and raised a Jersey Girl, Sharon discovered the Emerald Coast in 2008 with her now 15 year old son, Josh. Their mother-son adventures have moved them around to places like San Antonio, TX, Amelia Island and Fort Lauderdale, but it was Freeport where they decided to settle down with their 3 lovable labs. Sharon works full time in Sales for Visit San Antonio and enjoys her work locally assisting the 30A 10K team with their marketing and communications. When she isn’t tied up she is spending time with family, running, cooking (and eating), and making endless to-do lists in one of dozens of notebooks scattered around her house. Sharon’s most current adventure is focused on the year leading to “40”, and entering this next phase of motherhood and womanhood in the best mental, physical and spiritual shape of her life!
Shaye was born and raised in sweet home Alabama (Birmingham) and grew up vacationing in Miramar Beach, making the permanent move after graduating from Auburn University (War Eagle!). She now lives in Miramar Beach and has 1 son, Josiah (mostly known as “Si” or “Baby Si”). She works from home in marketing and digital communications, and also teaches dance at Rise Dance Center in Destin. She is a coffee addict and a social media nerd, and loves Jesus, music, fashion, food, fun events, fitness, sports and dance. She has 3 dogs (aka “fur-children”) and you can typically find her working or playing with Baby Si, but you might catch her jogging with the stroller along the beach, picking up a ‘pup-a-ccino’ from Starbucks, attending local events and festivals, browsing the aisles at the grocery store, sitting by the pool (sometimes the beach – but it’s such a hassle with a baby)… or eating a frozen pizza on the couch. She wishes she had more time to Latin dance (Hello Salsa and Bachata!) and play beach volleyball. New England Patriots, Auburn Tigers and Boston Red Sox are her teams and she can talk football with the best of them. If she could trade careers with anyone, it would be Erin Andrews, Megyn Kelly or Carrie Underwood (if that tells you anything about her priorities, haha). You can connect with her on Facebook, Instagram (@southernpassionista), Twitter (@mshaye) and her website (southernpassionista.com).
Terri is a recent transplant to the Destin/30A area. She grew up vacationing along The Emerald Coast and never in her wildest dreams imagined that she would be living here. She has three boys, William (14), Henry (3), and Massey (2). Terri and her gang of guys live in Grayton Beach where they spend as much time as possible outdoors. She has a long list of things she’d like to do in her free time, but she just can’t find any free time! You can follow their adventures on instagram @terrijproctor or on her blog, FromDixieto30a.

Whitney is a (rare) Florida Panhandle native. From growing up in small-town Gulf Breeze to graduating from Florida State University in Tallahassee, she has pursued her love of marketing and meeting people from Panama City Beach to Pensacola. After several years and several towns, Whitney decided on a new venture in Fort Walton Beach where a co-worker, Josh, became her friend and later her husband! Shortly after their wedding in 2013, they discovered they were expecting a son and decided it was time to relocate to the beach, specifically Santa Rosa Beach. Both Josh and Whitney traded the corporate world and began their own businesses to allow for flexibility and more time with their now toddler son, Ben and teen daughter, Ava. Quality time is the Bengson love language, and you can typically find Whitney and her family acting like tourists and enjoying the beach and all that it offers, or traveling to their favorite hotspots (New Orleans, Nashville, and DISNEY!). You can follow Whitney on Facebook or on Instagram at Instagram.com/gbwhit182.
Whitney was born and raised in North Alabama, but has made Florida her forever home. She’s a full-time wife to her husband, Michael, and stay-at-home mom to her 3.5 year old daughter, Charlee Bea.
Whitney and Michael were married after only 5 months of dating when Whitney was only 19 years old, but will be celebrating their 8th wedding anniversary in September! Their sweet daughter blessed their family on July 10, 2013. Whitney and Michael are on the journey of adoption, and will be welcoming their newest addition hopefully sometime this year!
You can find Whitney hanging out with her friends and family, showing of her sidewalk chalk skills with her daughter, the beach or pool, or in the Starbucks drive-thru. You can follow her family and their adoption journey on her instagram, @whitneytomlin.

She owns Marshall Media, a social media branding company, and runs her own blog “Miss Faulk” where she reviews books for authors all over the world. She also has an Etsy store “Miss Faulk Designs’ where she offers DIY prints for the those who want their home to be Pinterest worthy but on a tight mom budget.
She is married to her college sweetheart and mother to a toddler baby girl, Elle. You can catch her every move on Instagram, because she has zero self control of snapping photos of her daughter. Most nights you can catch her trying to figure out how many days she has been in yoga pants, while sipping on her fifth cup of coffee and watching Frasier on repeat.
